Project Overview

Objectives

The main objective of the project was to promote the right to access preschool education for children in vulnerable areas of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region. The project target the following:

  • 1,140 children from vulnerable areas of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region
  • 12 trainers from the Provincial Directorates of the Ministry of Education
  • 60 educators, including 30 already in service
  • 60 local communities
  • 30 local associations
  • 1,000 parents
  • 3,500 parents of the children
  • 5,000 residents from 100 localities in the region

Project Impact

7 cooperatives in the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region benefited from financial support as part of COVID-19 releif program.

More than 40 associations and cooperatives in the preschool sector improved their skills and expertise in project management, strategic planning, and financial administration.

Over 40 associations and cooperatives actively participated in an advocacy initiatives aimed at promoting inclusive preschool education in the region.

More than 300 persons actively engaged in regional debates involving key stakeholders in education sector, elected council members, associations and cooperatives
