First climate change bootcamp
The city of Azilal hosted, from 13 to 16 February 2025, the first bootcamp on climate change within the framework of the ASTA project, for local elected officials, administrative staff, and members of advisory bodies of the target territorial collectivities.

An essential step to strengthen capacities
This bootcamp was an essential step to strengthen participants’ capacities in addressing climate challenges, by deepening their knowledge on the subject and familiarising them with the mechanisms and practices used in climate policies.

The event highlighted the strategic role played by local collectivities and civil society in promoting sustainable development, notably through the integration of climate issues during the territorial policy development process.

Next steps
AIDECA will continue to support the implementation of climate actions at the territorial level, providing the tools necessary to strengthen the capacities of local actors, in order to ensure a real and lasting impact on the ground.
