Interactive meeting on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2025
Within the framework of International Women’s Day 2025, the Association Al Intilaka for Development, Environment and Culture in Afourar (AIDECA), in partnership with the National Initiative for Human Development in Azilal, organised an interactive meeting entitled “Women’s entrepreneurship: an essential lever for strengthening women’s economic empowerment” at Azilal Youth Platform, on 12 March 2025.
Broad participation and rich exchange of experiences
The meeting brought together over 76 participants, offering a rich platform to share experiences and inspiring stories of women who have launched leading entrepreneurial initiatives in Azilal province, as well as the efforts of the regional entrepreneurship support system.
Contributions from institutions and actors
The event was marked by valuable contributions from representatives of the social work division of Azilal prefecture, the Provincial Directorate of Tourism, Agriculture and Traditional Crafts, the Office of Cooperative Development at regional level, and the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC) in Azilal, alongside cooperatives, women project holders, and the media.
Government programmes and cooperative testimonies
The speakers highlighted the vital role of government programmes and initiatives in supporting, accompanying and financing women in the province, thus contributing to strengthening economic empowerment opportunities and opening new perspectives for growth and development. Some cooperatives shared vivid testimonies of their successes, demonstrating that economic empowerment is achieved through work and cooperation among actors.
