AIDECA is a membership association: our members elect the Executive Board every three years. You can join as a member, give time in the field as a volunteer, or both.

Two ways to take part

Become a member

Members carry the association. They take part in the General Assembly, approve its direction, and elect the Executive Board that runs AIDECA for the next three years.

Volunteer in the field

Volunteers support trainings, workshops, awareness sessions and day-to-day project work across Afourer, Béni Mellal and the province. Occasional or regular — both are useful.

They started where you are

Nobody on this page was recruited. Each of them walked in as a volunteer, a youth club member or a beneficiary — and stayed.

Joined as a member of the youth club. Elected General Secretary in 2021, and President in 2023 — the youngest in AIDECA’s history.

Came to AIDECA as a beneficiary in 2015. Returned after her economics degree as a financial and technical assistant.

Walked in during 2019 looking for support for her small bakery. She now leads a cooperative of nine women.

Started as a volunteer and took on role after role across two decades. He now runs our youth entrepreneurship programme.

Where your time counts

What to expect

You work alongside a project team, never alone on your first assignment.
We cover agreed field costs linked to an activity you take part in.
Volunteering is unpaid, and it is not a route into a paid role — open positions are published on our jobs page.
Many members of our team and Executive Board started as volunteers or as participants in a project.
