AIDECA wins the CDG Social Impact Prize 2026
AIDECA was recognized in Rabat with the CDG Social Impact Prize 2026, highlighting its field action for vulnerable communities and inclusive socio-economic development.
National recognition for local impact
On 22 January 2026 in Rabat, AIDECA received the CDG Social Impact Prize 2026, a national distinction recognizing civil society action with vulnerable communities and inclusive socio-economic development.
The award highlights AIDECA’s long-term work in Béni Mellal-Khénifra, especially its evidence-based support for women, young people, cooperatives, and small businesses. It also confirms the value of combining field accompaniment, institutional partnership, and documentation of local results.

Why it matters
The recognition comes after nearly three decades of local action that began in Afourer in 1996. It reflects the role AIDECA now plays as a regional development actor connecting communities with public institutions, donors, civil society networks, and economic inclusion programmes.
For AIDECA, the prize is not only a celebration. It is a responsibility to keep strengthening transparent governance, youth and women’s leadership, and practical pathways toward social and economic inclusion.
Looking ahead
AIDECA will continue to invest in programmes that support entrepreneurship, climate resilience, inclusive local governance, digital inclusion, and community-led development across the region.
