A national forum hosted in Béni Mellal
On 17 and 18 April 2026, AIDECA took part in the seventh national forum on the role of partnership in strengthening civil society, organized in Béni Mellal by the ministry in charge of relations with parliament in partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
The forum created a space to discuss how public institutions and civil society organizations can work together to strengthen participation, governance, and local development.

A new convention signed for association capacity building
During the opening session, AIDECA signed a formal partnership agreement with the ministry to supervise implementation of a national programme for strengthening the institutional and management capacities of associations in the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region.

This selection recognizes AIDECA’s long-standing work in civil society capacity building, territorial governance, and participatory development.
ASTA presented in the partners’ space
During the same forum, with support from the European Union, AIDECA also presented the ASTA project in the partners’ space. This gave national visibility to the project’s approach, achievements, good practices, and territorial impact on climate adaptation governance.
