Under the INDH youth economic inclusion programme in Azilal, AIDECA supported digital and AI training in youth spaces and a March 2026 celebration of women entrepreneurs.
A 2026 entrepreneurship calendar in Azilal
In early 2026, the Azilal youth entrepreneurship support programme continued with activities focused on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and women’s economic leadership.
The programme is implemented under INDH Programme 3, “Improving Youth Income and Economic Inclusion”, with AIDECA serving as the technical partner for implementation in Azilal province.
Digitalization and AI in youth spaces
During January and February 2026, the programme announced training on digitalization and artificial intelligence across the four youth spaces. The activity responds to a clear need: young entrepreneurs increasingly need practical digital skills for market research, communication, management, access to opportunities, and project development.
This direction also connects youth economic inclusion with AIDECA’s broader work on responsible digital inclusion and civic innovation.
Celebrating women entrepreneurs
On 9 March 2026 in Azilal, the programme highlighted women entrepreneurs as part of the entrepreneurship journey. This moment gave visibility to women’s leadership in local economic development and reinforced the need to make support pathways accessible to women project holders.
Programme impact
The AEJ Azilal platform presents the programme as an end-to-end support pathway from ideation and training to business-plan development, financing facilitation, and post-creation coaching. It reports 250+ small businesses supported, 29% generated by women, 100+ training and coaching sessions, and 500+ jobs created.
